Acidic Color Gloss Shampoo

Not only does it effectively cleanse my hair, but it also leaves it feeling incredibly soft and shiny. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was honestly a little hesitant to try this shampoo, because the word "acidic" sounds a little scary. I was worried it would fry my hair or something! However, my worries were quickly squashed when I tried it for the first time. It looks and feels exactly like you would expect a from a shampoo, and it smells great. Every time I use it, I feel like I've just come from the salon. My hair feels so soft and healthy after using it just once, but after using it every day for a while now, I don't think my hair has ever felt better. Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Acidic Color Gloss Activated Glass Shampoo was really good. It smells very nice which is a plus for me. I used according to directions and afterwards, I really could see a difference in my hair. I really didn't have enough in the pack to get a good thorough treatment. My hair is longer now so I believe that if I'd had enough of the Color Gloss shampoo, it would had made it even better. But I worked with what I had, my hair was shining and it brought out the color of my hair. I really liked it and will be buying it soon.

I was excited to receive this product because I have highlighted hair and thought this would give me a nice shine. The shampoo smells nice, lathers fine, I even like the packaging, and my hair comes out nice and soft and shiny the first day, which are all positives of the shampoo. However I found with this shampoo, my hair looks greasy the next day, I do have normal somewhat oily scalp, but usually can go a few days with dry shampoo. I found it really hard to manage my hair the second day and after, and my hair just looked greasier than normal. After a few washed with this shampoo, I just went back to my usual one and probably will not be using this one again. This might be better for damaged and highly processed hair, or dry scalp.

And usually end up with dry itchy scalp most of the time. But one wash with this stuff makes me wish I'd have never tried it. I love how it makes my hair feel soft and luxurious. The scent is amazing. And it didn’t strip all of the vivid color from my hair. It was amazing! When I’ve got extra money to throw around I’ll definitely be purchasing this set.

I have very fine hair and many conditioners are too heavy for it and weigh it down, but I also have very dry, damaged hair so I need a good conditioner. Using the acidic color gloss system, I did not have to sacrifice volume and bounce for moisture. I was able to have both volume and moisture in one amazing product line.

Thank you so much. This product is fantastic. I've struggled with damage from years of prior coloring and bleaching and then after having my son my hair was just different in the worst ways. Dry, lack luster, easily breaking. Very unhappy locks. I've endlessly tried many things to help restore my hair and all without much success if any. But this shampoo really helped my hair looks so much shinier, as well as less tangled and and more easily managed. Such a major difference even my mini noticed as he hadn't ever before wanted to twirl my hair and now it's a daily event and I'm so happy. I have used many of Redken's products for many years and this is probably my favorite, I definetely recommend it.

My hair is kind of long so the conditioner was not enough.
